5V Mini TrainUPS constrant voltage supply

Battery backed up MiniTrainUPS 5VDC regulated power supply, ideal for powering LED train lighting, small on board computers or any other functions that needs reliable constant voltage power.

Mini TrainUPS consists of a double regulator high efficiency charging system with regulated 5 VDC 1A output and a 6 cell 2300 Mah battery pack. Charges from and 'floats' on any track voltage from 14 to 28V, AC, DC or DCC. Ideal for LED train lighting and computer power. This is the same power subsystem we use in our DVRAC. Charges and supplies 5VDC while the unit is on track power of 14V or greater, goes into UPS mode when the train is on unpowered track. Will supply a regulated 5VDC output at up to 1 Amp for over 2 hours with no track power present. 1 Amp at 5VDC will power up to 50 LEDs, more than enough to light your longest passenger train. Recharge time (fully discharged) is 5 hours.

Electronics unit is located in a 3x2x1 inch box, battery dimensions are 3.5x2x.75 inches. Battery is located on a detachable pigtail and may be located up to 20 inches away from the electronics unit if desired. May be installed in any unit with track power pickups. Track current draw is under 500ma at full rated output on 20V track power.
