6 Cell 7.2 V NiMH 2300 mah battery pack.

Nominal voltage from 7.2 to 8.4V depending on state of charge. 2.3 Amps of raw battery power with a very flat discharge curve, perfect for powering small computers like IPTrains Trainvision uses. 2.5 Amp self resetting over current protection included.

Supplied with Jefco connector mounted and M/F pigtail. May be used as replacement pack for Trainvision or for additional power. Perfect for driving a 5VDC regulator.

If the 'on track charging system' option is selected, includes on track double regulator high efficiency charging system with regulated 5 VDC 1A output. Charges from and 'floats' on any track voltage from 14 to 28V, AC, DC or DCC. Ideal for LED train lighting and computer power. This is the same power subsystem we use in our DVRAC. Charges and supplies 5VDC while the unit is on track power of 14V or greater, goes into UPS mode when the train is on unpowered track. Will supply a regulated 5VDC output at up to 1 Amp for over 2 hours with no track power present. Recharge time (fully discharged) is 5 hours.
