Cable

Comes with 12" 30 gauge Kynar leads, a 24" stranded ribbon cable extension is available as a pre-wired option. In addition to giving you more reach on the signal wiring the stranded ribbon cable is easier to connect to other wires, junction boxes and switch contacts for signal control. 24 ga solid CAT3/5 cable in various lengths is also available, this is a good option for those planning on hooking signals to our block detectors since you can use waterproof splice connectors to directly join the cables.

Available in 24 VDC, will operate on voltages from 9V to 24V

Color

Basic color is railroad black with black target. Silver standard and ladder is available as an option as is unfinished. All signal finish is heat treated for durability

Mount Since IPTrains signals are designed for outdoor operation we include our two part ground mount spike as the normal mount. Just push it into the ground, insert the signal and slide the locking collar down and the signal is mounted. For indoor layouts we offer two choices, a simple tube mount, inserts in a 7/32 hole in the sub roadbed, wires come out the bottom or our 'show mount' for mounting on top of your layout. The show mount consists of a heavy duty plate with a brass receiver tube, wires come out the side. Slips under the track for stability, has holes if you want to bolt it down.
