This is our I Beam style steel signal bridge. It is well detailed and very rugged as it is crafted from welded solid and hollow core steel stock.  Since the bridge is welded steel rather than braised brass, both materials and fabrication are more inexpensive than our brass bridges and we pass those savings on to you.  If you want a rugged and good looking signal bridge to add some class 1 to your railroad, this is the one.

The bridges use the Santa Fe I beam signal bridges similar to those found west of Flagstaff as their prototype and are available with a variety of APC searchlight heads, both single and double. Single color light heads are also available in various configurations.

The bridge is made from welded steel, it wll stand up to almost anything.  If you run over one of these with your garden tractor you may tear the heads off but we assure you that your tractor will never be the same again.

The signal bridge is available in both two and three track widths.  If you need more width than that, contact us, we can do customs up to 6 tracks across.

Ordering our signal bridges is a bit like ordering pizza, the base bridge has no heads mounted, you add on heads like ingredients.   We offer a number of ABS and CTC style heads in our options section.  The two track ABS bridge has one head per track, on opposite sides and the CTC style bridge has 4 (two track) or 6 (three track) single heads mounted, one for each track in each direction. 

Multiple heads (2 or 3 per track) are refered to as an interlocking configuration as they are normally used at crossovers and other interlocking track locations.  We offer a number of interlocking configurations for this bridge with searchlight heads.  The heads on an interlocking bridge all face in one direction and head configurations up to 3X are available.

If you need a head configuration we don't offer in our options section these bridges are designed for use with our standard mounted searchlight and color light APC signal heads.  They work well with single heads in one or both directions and work well with up to three searchlight heads in one direction.  

If you're not planning on setting your bridge in concrete we offer optional 12" long steel stock 'footers'  that bolt on to each side of the base of the bridge to provide stability in high winds.

This bridge is designed to support one head per track per direction or multiple heads per track in one direction only.  If you need multiple heads per track in both directions, consider using our open frame brass bridge as it is has more horizontal mounting space and looks less cluttered or just order two I frame bridges, one for each direction, which is what the Santa Fe normally did.
