If you don't want to design your own custom signaling plant you can send us a diagram of what you are trying to accomplish and we'll do it for you. This is a chargeable service as it goes well beyond normal customer support (the 'will this work?' sort of question), you are renting engineering services with this option. The deliverable is a complete custom set of wiring diagrams and a List Of Materials (LOM) with guaranteed pricing for all items including cabling. 

The service includes both block signaling and interlocking, from the simple to the complex, we'll work it out for you.  We will also make suggestions in the areas of signal types and placements and block lengths to help with both realistic appearance and smooth operations.  There is nothing like an operating signal system to make your railroad come alive.

This is a consultative service, we will work with you until you are satisfied with your customized  signaling plan.  Operating railroad signaling is a complex business and it's one of our specialties, we can save you both time and money by getting it right on the first try.  The packages we generate with this service are similar to our block signaling packages but customized for your exact needs.   You get exactly what you want for your specific railroad, normally at a price lower than buying pieces and parts and a custom configuration that is guaranteed to work.

Small jobs (up to four turnouts and an unlimited number of blocks) cost $50 to $75 (one way or bi-directional) and include a $25 store credit for future purchases. Larger jobs, up to complete railroads, are quoted on a custom basis. Send us a diagram and we'll send you a free quote.

We can normally get your design back to you within five business days after receiving your layout diagram. We accept layout diagrams via email in the following graphic formats: png/jpg/gif and Visio drawing format. We also accept drawings via fax.
